The Citadel Guard is composed of some of the finest knights in Terrinoth, and their superior tactics and training give them an edge in combat.
Citadel Guards are the elite soldiers of the Daqan Lords military. In conflicts between barons they are neutral, serving the Council of Archaut rather than pledging allegiance to any one lord. This means the Guard is focused on repelling outside threats such as monsters of the wilds, the undead hordes of the Mistlands, or even the Locust Swarm itself.
Citadel Lancers
The knight-captains of the Citadel Guard ride into battle as glorious heavy cavalry. Their elaborate multi-bladed polearms take great skill to master and unfailingly strike fear into the hearts of any enemies of Terrinoth. Lancers are often seen leading the soldiers of Daqan into battle when the baronies as a whole come under threat.
