Azarnoosh was a demon lord residing in the Cave of Wonders. When a band of heroes pursuing Belthir and the Dread Cult came to the cave, they had to pass three elemental trials. Azarnoosh constituted the trial of fire, emerging from a lava pit with his impish minions to battle with the heroes. He was defeated, granting the party the trophy of fire, a fiery heart.
